Hi,
I am thinking over staying for one night at the Hilton. However the loaction concerns me a little. As its on the other side of the river how does one cross over. I know there are boat taxis running but Im in a wheelchiar and this may be a little awkward. Also do these river taxi%26#39;s run all night? We will be heading into town at night and will be comng back a little drunk. Is it possible to gt there crossing the river by Taxi?
Travel to Millenium Hilton
You will be able to get a normal taxi (not river taxi with a wheelchair) or a Hotel Car (costs a bit)from your Hotel to where ever you want to go, but depending upon the area you are planning to go in the evening your are a bit out of the way. Sukhumvit Rd area is possibly the best area for nightlife, and that is a fair taxi ride away, depending upon traffic. You may want to consider staying more local and there are plenty of 4+ star hotels in this area to choice from.
Westing Grand might be suitable for a wheelchair, from memory it is all lifts and ramps.
Nai Lert (Swiss Hotel) is another that could be suitable (along side the British Embassy), you%26#39;ve also got the Sheraton, Marriot, Landmark etc.
