Does anyone know how to go about getting a 30 day Thai Visa? I am from the USA and was wondering the cheapest way to get one. I read that you can buy one in Thailand for a fraction of the original price instead of getting it at the consulate for $90. Is this true? Around how much did your visa cost? Thanks in advance =)!
Thailand Visa Help!!!!
US citizens can get a free 30 visa waiver on arrival. You can also apply in advance for a 60 day tourist visa at any Thai consulate in the US. There are no %26#39;discounts%26#39; on visas, and they cannot be obtained in Thailand except under certain circumstances such as changing the visa type, and then only at an immigration office.
Thailand Visa Help!!!!So when I arrive at the airport, I can get a free 30 day visa basically? Do I get this from customs? And what do I need for this? Multiple passport pics etc?
Just arrive at the airport with a smile and hand over your passport and a completed immigration form. You will get a VISA WAIVER for 30 days. If you lleave the country (overland) and re-enter you will be given another 14 days.
