Baan Talay Samran

I would love to hear from someone who has actually seen this place. It looks great online, but I have found no personal reviews for it.

It would also be very useful to know how close it is to restaurants and other hotels. Can%26#39;t tell from the sites map just where it is.

Anyone have any personal experience with this place?

Thanks

Baan Talay Samran

I am sure I replied to this, don%26#39;t know what happened to the reply.

Baan Talay Samran are large villa style houses at the beach north of Cha Am, they are great for families and groups, but location is remote if you do not have your own transport.

Closer to Hua hin are Chom View Holiday Apartments, also on the beach, they have large serviced holiday and vacation apartments ideal for families on the beach.

Baan Talay Samran

I lived in this resort for about 6 months last year.

It really is a lovely place. It is quiet and peaceful and as the previous poster says it is a little out of town.

You can hire a bike or car without any problems so its not a major issue.

I know it looks good online but it is even better in real life.

If you are looking for somewhere to chill out and relax then this is the place. geroreilly.com

Hi Applemanthai,

My wife and I would like to rent a beach front or nearby beaches apartments with kitchen for 4-5 months. Would you let us know about a monthly rental rate for Baan Talay Samran? And from this location, what kind of car that you think it%26#39;s suitable to hire for some golfing activity?

thank you

It really depends on what months you will be staying there.

High season is November to Feb/March and that is pretty much booked out at the moment.

However, from March onwards you shouldnt really have a problem. In Talay Samran, my villa would go for about 60,000 baht per month (approx 1,400 euros). Its the largest house in the development though - 250 square meters.

I have a friend who does car rentals..... Toyota Vios is fine for there. Costs about 1,200 per day..... its only a 5 minute drive into town and there are minibuses available all day long if you dont rent a car. But i would highly recommend that you do.

Golf courses will collect you but to be honest the car gives you complete freedom.

Let me know if i can help anymore.

We%26#39;d like to thank you for your information. Our tentative plan to come to Cha Am is set for October to March of 2008-2009. We would have plenty of time to book in advance. We are researching to rent an apartment or condo with a budget of 30k-35k BT per month. So 60k/month for Baan Talay Samran is out of our reach. I think VIP Condo in Cha Am where they rent a few units to Webster University students, may fit our budget. This area of Cha Am or Hua Hin area is difficult to find a nice beach front condo in lower price range. So, we may change to go to stay in Jomtien or Baan Ampure (Chonburi) or Baan Chang (Rayong) instead.

Hello my friend,

I%26#39;m Jason from Malaysia. I have been Cha Am last year. I%26#39;ll go there on 25th Dec 2007.

You will feel peace of mind at this beautiful place.

Maybe you can see the photo when i%26#39;m come back.

Hi,

I%26#39;ve been to Talay Samran a few times and yes it really is beautiful.

Forgreen - if you can%26#39;t afford a large house, there are a mix of units available to rent including very nice and large condos which are much cheaper.

Have another look at the website for prices.

I%26#39;ve just come back from Talay Samran. It%26#39;s a beautiful resort with 4 swimming pools on a deserted beach. It%26#39;s individual villas and a small apartment block set in lovely landscaped gardens. It%26#39;s so clean and well maintained and is run like a hotel with made service, a reception, gym, sauna, maid service, restaurant, shuttle bus, security etc. It%26#39;s in a quiet location, but within easy reach of Cha am beach and Hua Hin. A fantastic escape for those wanting a luxury hotel, but with your own apartment or villa. Plus it%26#39;s really cheap! I really had an amazing time there and didn%26#39;t want to leave.

Hi ChinaPepper and especially Forgreen,

For 30-40K amonth, seaview condo, great location on Cha-am beach, pls visit

I have just a studio with small pantry, to let, when I don%26#39;t use.

Hi Applemanthai, is possible to rent your villa for a week 1-8 August 2008?

which are the price?

Thanks
