Elephant walk in Phuket or Singapore

Hello,

We will be staying in Singapore for 5 days then onto Phuket for 6 days and would love to do the elephant walk. Can anybody please recommend a tour where the elephants are not mistreated? Also, is it cheaper in Singapore or Phuket?

Thanks in advance.

Cheers

MJC

Elephant walk in Phuket or Singapore

If I am not wrong, you can only do elephant walk only in the Singapore Zoo which goes round in a small area (more like a kiddy ride).

I havent been to the elephant walk in Phuket but have done it in Koh Samui so I assmue it will be similar whereby they track into forest and should be more suitable for adults.

Elephant walk in Phuket or Singapore

There are no elephant walks in Singapore. For Phuket you could try Siam Safari or Kok Chang

Kok Chang has started doing free pick ups too in Kata, Karon , Nai Harn and Rawai.. also for large groups you can call them and ask if you are in Patong.

They are less expensive the Siam Safari and Less commercial. There are gorgeous sea views from the bar without even doing the trek.

20 min is 600 baht

30 min is 800 baht

60 min is 1000 baht

Call Chaini (manager) at 084819794 from within Thailand

or Kok Chang 089 591 9413

(sometimes the phones dont have a signal)_

There is a very UNOFFICIAL website too.

There friends did it for them
