Best resorts for teenagers

Hi,

I would recommend the Patong Merlin which is in the heart of the action and reasonably priced. Plenty of Aussies with kids/teenagers stay there. Excellent breakfast usually included in the price. Ask your local travel rep for package deals.

Cheers

Best resorts for teenagers

August is low season because of the weather so hotel and resort prices it%26#39;s the cheapest time of year so plenty of good deals, 3 star places from aroun AU$45.

Depends what beach you want to stay and how you want to spend your time. If you want the busiest with shopping, lots of restaurants etc then Patong. Kata and karon would be quite quiet at that time.

Do take care sea swimming at that time and watch for the warning flags.

If Patong have a look at Swiss Palm Beach, this is small family run place that has been around for years and years, they have 2 bedroom duplex apartments, you get breakfast included and there is a restaurant and small pool but you get the benefit of plenty of room - 2 bedroom apartments about AU$ 115, duplex about AU$ 144, that is for 4 with breakfast.

Had you thought about Gulf islands that time for better weather ? - up to you but just so you are aware there are options available.

Courtyard by Marriott at Kamala Phuket has 2 bedroom apartments, has plenty of facilities, they have plenty of low season promotions, but that would not be busy like Patong.

16 %26amp; 14, you must stay in Patong.

Yes, PM. Though it seems to be pricing itself up with the Holiday Inn, these days. Not fancy, but great location and pools, good smorgasbord breakfast. Often has pay 4 stay 8 etc type specials, so keep an eye out.

Do look at Thara Patong, a little cheaper, especially for pool view rooms. There is supposedly construction works going on next door, so you may get some daytime noise. Reasonable pools, good reviews.

Pool not a biggie ? Courtyard Marriott seems nice, recently refurbished from the ground up.

Gracelands gets mixed reviews, but I thought it looked ok when we dropped in for a sticky, nice big pool, quieter end of Patong.

All of these close to the beach.

One out of left field - Duangjitt. Look at google maps... yes, that giant blue thing is a pool. If you can get the family suite on special, might work out cheaper than 2 rooms. Long walk to the front gate and therefore to the beach, but do-able.

plenty more to choose from, gets down to $$$ and your priorities.
