Kho Keow is a great little zoo - lots of photo ops and set in the hills of Chonburi province. The whole place feels comfortable both for the visitor and animals there. Its an hours drive from Bangkok off the main highway going to Pattaya.

I%26#39;ve only been to Safari World and the kids loved it. We had photos taken holding the tiger cubs while feeding them milk bottles. A photo cost approx $300 baht for a big one which is worth it and cheaper than any photo done at theme parks in Australia. We also had photos with orangatans. You%26#39;re allowed to also use your own camera. One of the workers took shots of us, so the whole family can be in the picture.

We went with a tour group (www.sightseeing.bangkok.com). They have a mini van so the total they can take is approx 10 people. This is good because when you 1st get there they drive through to see animals up close and everyone gets the opportunity to see them in a small van compared to some of the huge tour buses.

The tour is full on, you see one show after another, but this way you get to see all the shows and don%26#39;t miss anything. We had toddlers so we gave the cowboy show a miss because of the gun fire noise, so we had free time to play games in their games section.

We have only been to the safari world but would definately recommend it, the highlight for us was going up onto the platform to feed the giraffes. Our kids still talk about it now, we are going back to bangkok this july and the safari world is on our list of things to do. I agree with the previous poster that this place is definately full on. It was non-stop from start to finish to fit in all the shows. This time we will pick and choose which shows we want to see, this will mean that we will miss some of them but things like the monkey and bird shows are pretty much the same in all zoo%26#39;s. I wouldn%26#39;t miss the stunt show though, that was brilliant. We just want to have a bit more of a relaxing visit.

Thanks to all that is great info, I was originally thinking Sarari world it sounds like it has everything can%26#39;t wait to go.
