Hoping to visit phuket this year (visiting Thailand for the first time) Is it possible to do a day trip to Bangkok??

Phuket To Bangkok??I don%26#39;t think a day trip is enough for Bangkok as you will spend most of your day travelling. It would be very unlikely your Phuket accommodation would be close to the airport and with the flight time on top your day would vanish. When we visit Phuket we arrange to go home via Bangkok, spending at least 3 nights over the weekend to get maximum benefit of Chatuchak Market plus some sightseeing.
