New to Phuket

Hi

I am new to the idea of travelling to Phuket - my husband and I travel overseas when he goes for work and our next area of travel is Thailand, so I thought we could go to Phuket as our part of the trip.

I know next to nothing about Phuket and Phi Phi and am after some help on:

* Place to stay - somewhere quiet, close to the action but still far enough away, beach location would be great.

* Things to do - what not to miss ?

* Places to eat - again, what not to miss, what to miss.

Anything else ??

Welcome to the forum, there is so much to do and see in Phuket, and some lovely areas also. How long have you got in Phuket and what is your budget, also telling us what sort of things you like to do will help members suggest suitable places and things to do and also what time of year you are travelling in.
