Samui Paradise room size/quality/location June 2009

We have 8 nights on Koh Samui 2nd-10th June. Planning to divide it between 4 nights Imperial Boathouse at ChoengMon and 4 nights Samui Paradise at Chaweng but haven%26#39;t yet booked accommodation.

How does this combination sound?

Have been reading mixed reviews about room sizes at Samui Paradise, but location and price sounds like what we are looking for. Can anyone give me an honest opinion on the Grand Deluxe Villa and is this the same as a Grand Seaside Villa? Different websites seem to call the rooms by different names. How small are the rooms?- hopefully we will be on the beach or at the pool rather than hanging about in our room anyway.

Look forward to hearing from someone who has stayed there.

Hi There,

The Grand Deluxe villas used to be the Grand seaside villas - we stayed in a Grand seaside villa in Feruary last year - they are lovely with the beathroom being about a third the size of the actual bedroom size. There is heaps of room in the bathroom for storage, and they also have the wardrobes as well as the wash basins, with the tea/coffee facilities set up in the bathroom as well, although you can move it back into your room if you want.Lighting is very dim in the room as well as the bathroom, but you can always ask for an additional lamp etc. They have huge verandas, with seating all the way around - very relaxing.

The Junior suites are brand new and line the edge of the resort - they are new %26amp; chic with a lot more room, but also a lot more expensive. Then, of course you have the amazing Paradise suites right at the beach edge.If there is only 2 of you, you will have ample room in a grand deluxe villa - enjoy!

Cheers,

Sandy

Thanks Sandy,

I think we will go ahead and book the Grand Deluxe Villa on that recommendation! It sounds like it will meet our needs perfectly.

Debbie.

Hi Debbie,

I am sure you will love the place - we are jealous!

Sandy
