fantasea show
You can usually book right at your hotel, no need to really book far ahead on these things.
fantasea show
It depends if you like such performances and are happy with the inclusion of animals aspect

i loved fantasea and would go again, but i also know of people that wernt too keen on it. But your kids would definetly love it!
We enjoyed Fantasea. It%26#39;s something that we would only do once though. We only did the show, not the dinner, but other people on our transfer back to the hotel did the dinner and they said they enjoyed it. We did get a better price using a tour operator in Patong rather than through the hotel. I think the ticket price doesn%26#39;t change, however most tour operators on the street will give you transfers to and from the show for free. The hotels usually charge more for this we found.
Hope this helps

Hi mandurahbabe, when my family went to Fantasea my boys were 11 and 13. The boys enjoyed the show but were very confused what was going on as it was all in Thai. My husband and I enjoyed it but were also confused. My mum was ill at the time and she had trouble getting up and down all of the steps. The meal was rather nice, plenty to choose from. I wouldn%26#39;t go again but I%26#39;m glad we went.
We booked through our hotel but only because we didn%26#39;t realise you would get better deals from the booking agents in Patong. The next time we booked things we went to the booking agents rather than the hotel. You can usually get better deals if you book more than one thing at a time. We went on a boat trip with Phuket Siam Seacanoes and went to Simons Cabaret and got better deals because we booked then together.
Hope you have a great time. I know we did.

Hi, to be honest I would not waste my money on Fantasea. We went with our friends and we all thought the same thing. The boys aged from 8 to 11 and they found it boring.
They loved the ATV tour which offers sighting seeing also much more fun.
Riding an elephant is much more fun then watching.
Hi I think you will like it. We have been twice with kids and they loved the place. Organise transfers so you get there as soon as the park opens...plenty to see and do in the grounds.
Tickets were 1500bt entry and 1900bt with show with transfers 150bt each each way. You will get a much better deal off the street. If you click on my user name and look for my Phuket JBR%26#39;s you will find info on Fantasea plus where we got tickets. Think we paid 1200bt per adult, 900? for my 8 year old and 2 year old was free. We organised transfers from them also for 600bt return (I think) so saved money here too as there were 5 of us.
Also your driver is there when you want to leave!! Plenty of photo ops for elephants outside venue after show. Also has bands playing and plenty of food available if you do not want to do buffet.
Book all tours off street, much cheaper than hotel. Just wander and have a look whats on offer at several booths, get an idea of prices and they will usually give a discount if you book more than 1 or there is a few of you
Have fun
cheers
karin
