The simple answer - loads. More than a dozen within about an hours drive. If you look at www.pattayasports.org and click onto sports and then golf you should be able to find a list of them all and the current prices. Check the sports pages of www.pattayamail.com for an indication of the groups that play and what days.

I have played out of the Sugarshack bar for years now when in pattaya ( on soi pattayaland - first soi walking down beach road from the royal garden shopping centre going toward walking street) - they play monday wednesday friday leaving usually at 9, with details marked up for the week on the board in the bar, arrange transport( about B200) and are less of a clique than many of the other groups.

Khao Kheo is my favourite course in the world, Bangpra lovely, with a big hot japanese style bath to soak in afterward, Crystal Lodge at times has the fastest greens I%26#39;ve ever seen ( or is it%26#39;s brother course Mountain View ) - all long, difficult and with loads of water.

The courses around Pattaya are awesome. A mate and I played 6 courses last year and they were in immaculate condition. The scenery and gardens were on a very high standard. The management was spot on and the staff/caddies were top notch.

We booked all our golf through www.golfasia.com. Their price included guide/driver, green fees, transfers and caddie. The extras on the day were the caddie%26#39;s tip, drivers tip and the food/beverages.

Probably not the cheapest option but is certainly was top class service. We played the top courses and got the tee times we requested.

Other options are: Solar golf in pattaya who is another operator and as previously mentioned above, there are bars which run their own comps which is a cheaper option. There is Lewinski%26#39;s Bar, Bunker boys - OK coral bar and the Pattya sport club, just to name a few.

P.s. It is generally hot and humid but still a lot of fun.

p.s. Recommned you bring your own gear too.
