Koh Tao - beaches for snorkelling

I will be in koh tao for 3 days in jan end, after being in samui for a week.

Choosing between Koh Tao Resort or Sensi Paradise or Thipwamarin. Any recommendations.

Also which are the best beaches to go to for snorkelling? I rad a lot about Nang Yuan and Rocky Bay. Please share experiences.

Also what are the other things one can do during the day / evening at KohTao.

We stopped at the Sensi Paradise last year and will be returning this year - it%26#39;s a good hotel, well located and with attentive service.

If you are wanting to snorkel, Nang Yuan is a must. Also try Aeo Luk and even Jansom bay ( a short walk from Sensi Paradise). Even the beach at Sensi is good once you are far enough out and if the seas are clear.

It%26#39;s mainly a snorkel/dive island, but there are canoes to rent and a trip round the island is worthwhile. For a livlier night try Sairee beach (the Lotus bar), where the fire twirlers (I%26#39;m sure they are not called that), display their awesome talents.

Mostly it%26#39;s a chilled out place with some good bars and restaurants.
