The view is very good that%26#39;s about it.

Staff are rude and unhelpful and the breakfast is cold.

The resort has a beach but the other restaurants are far and at nights there are not lights around.

The cooking is ok at at dinner but very expensive and much better and cheaper in the rest of thailand.

Unfortunately we paid at ahead and we could not get a refund but it is a place where I would take a picture but I would never stay again.

Oh,sorry about bad experience.

SO,highly recommend the new one resort at koh lipe ';Idyllic Concept Resort';

Their rooms are very clean and modern also the beach was lovely just suitable to relaxing, swimming and snorkeling.

Overall speaking this is a very nice hotel for the money you pay.

I%26#39;m beginning to get worried!

We are due to arrive at The Mountain Resort on 6th April having booked (and paid) ages ago when all the reviews were great. What has changed? We will be there for 6 nights before travelling on to another island, so we are sort of stuck with it.

Hopefully the view is still good and we plan to do lots of snorkelling. I%26#39;ll take a torch to find my way around at night...

Any helpful suggestions as to places to eat, things to do, and so on would be very welcome.

We stayed at Mountain Resort for 4 nights in January after having moved over from Pattaya Beach ( Varin)-- Pattaya was just way too busy for us. The view from MR%26#39;s restaurant is lovely--- but the actual beach and water leave a lot to be desired. Sure, there%26#39;s some coral-- but Pattaya is actually a lot nicer for swimming and snorkeling. It is kind of far for walking around at night, but with a headlamp, it is quite safe. There are good places to eat-- the restaurant at MR is just okay-- breakfast is not that great! The bungalows are standard for the island. I suggest getting AC----
