Private Travel guides in Bangkok - Siddei & Mr.Hamm

Really need to tell the forum about our tour guide experience in Bangkok.

As a result of this forum my wife and our two adult sons who visited Bangkok two weeks ago booked a private tour (about 6 hours) with siddei - one of forum%26#39;s recommended tour guides.

Upon our arrival at our hotel we were contacted by his designated guide (Mr.Hamm) who picked us up at 8.30am the next morning in and air-conditioned van and took us on an enthralling tour of Bangkok (including lunch).

Siddei%26#39;s emails and confirmations were first rate and his agent Mr. Hamm was a real livewire who kept us amused and fascinated by his knowledge of the history of the region.

There was no waiting around as we moved from one location to the next as the van was always there to pick us up.

Really a first rate operation.

The email link for siddhi is siddhided@gmail.com - just send him an email and he%26#39;ll reply very quickly. With only a few hours to spare on the Saturday of our visit we specifically asked for a not too touristy itinerary.

He sent us an excellent suggested itinerary which we adjusted slightly and then finally agreed upon. One of the standout parts of the tour was at the very start when we visited the ';wet'; market where they sell all the flowers for Bangkok - truly a colourful and fascinating insight.

Hi Broadbeachboy,

Any chance you could send me your itinerary please?

Cheers,

Stewie.

Hi,

I would really appreciate a copy of your itinerary as well if possible please?

Can you please also give me an idea of the cost of the tour.

Many thanks

Richard
