I am flying from Phuket to Bangkok in May with Thai Air. I was thinking about upgrading to Royal Silk (Business) class as its only an extra $50.
However, I was wondering if its worth it? There doesn%26#39;t seem to be a Thai Air lounge at Phuket airport, so I don%26#39;t get any benefit there.
Has anyone flown Business on domestic Thai Air flights? What do you actually get that%26#39;s extra?
Thai Air - Should I updgrade to business class for domestic?
It%26#39;s worth it. You get the lounge, the space on board, and the service.

I agree, if you can afford it it%26#39;s worth it.
Note the flights are wide body aircraft, some are A 330, some are B 777 and some are 747-400, try and get the 747-400 and then you will %26#39;really%26#39; benefit form Business class seating !!
On the A-300 (AB6) and A-330 or 777 it%26#39;s ok but on the 747-400 makes a big difference.
Seperate check in, higher baggage allowance, lounge use, comfort, service etc.
While all the above are valid, domestic business class is not a patch on international business class. I find it worth the extra though.
Don%26#39;t bother, except if you want to collect extra frequent flier miles. It%26#39;s a short flight and the difference in comfort is negligible.
In fact, save some money and fly Air Asia.
