Hotel right on the beach in the centre in Phuket??

Hi Please can anyone advise of hotels which are right on the beach and in the centre to avoid taking taxis. I am looking at Andaman Seaview but it is across the road and have read that they charge for sunbeds on the beach.

In Karon, Karon Beach Resort and Marina. In Patong Patong Garden, Impiana and another one beginning with I. Le Meridian is on Tri Trang beach, also Merlin Beach Resort - away from the main centres but they have a shuttle service. In Kata, Mom Tris.

If you are thinking Patong it is limited right on the beach.

What time of year were you thinking of because rates vary a great deal.

Hi I am thinking of going mid April for two weeks in a lively location in Phuket. Which area should I be looking at? Looking for a 4 star right on the beach in Phuket but in or very near walking distance to restaurants, bars, massages, lively places, etc. In the day time will be mostly in the hotel beach. The few hotels I looked at are across a road which we don鈥檛 want. Thanks

Try Le Meridien beach and resort in phuket, I guess you may like it check it and it have good deals in mid of april I already booked from the mid of april till the 1 st of may there...but if you can afford check the ocean view or the j.suites they look nice..

Phuket is the island which includes many different beach areas, you are obviously thinking about Patong for the nigthlife, shopping etc, if you are looking for right on the beach with quality accommodation close to the busy part then it is Impiana Cabana or La Flora, that%26#39;s it.

Or le meridien a few km south, on the beach but transport needed to/from center of patong.

No I change my mind I am staying at Le Meridien I booked already there at the ocean view room...I hope it%26#39;s nice hotel even the few negative reviews which I read it but i think it%26#39;s nice place and near to life and the most importnat thing pvt beach and taxi from to patong will not be a deal because 5 or 10 min is ok for ...

Thanks guys. Impiana Cabana and La Flora are ideal! However very pricy so trying to get a deal on them! The agent is trying to sell me Amari what do you think of that i.e. Amari location wise and beach, etc

I researched all hotels on Patong beach and found Amari Coral Resort had the best reviews, its listed as No 1 on this site, taking into account numerous opinions.

Its got its little%26#39; private beach%26#39; and is close to all the night life yet secluded. All rooms have good sea views as well.

Le Meridian seems to have a bigger beach but not all reviews are positive.
