How to get to Hua Hin from Phuket

I arrive in Bangkok 10th December (about 7.00am) and will be staying in Koh Samui for approx 6 nights then onto Phuket for a similar amount of time. Or visa versa depending on your answers

After visiting the above places were travelling to Hua Hin. Is it easier to get to Hua Hin from Samui or Phuket? Iv read theres a VIP overnight bus that leaves Phuket. Is there a similar bus I can get from Suratthani if I decided on staying in samui after Phuket?

Another point to consider its considerably cheaper for us to fly from bangkok to Phuket than it is to fly to samui from Bangkok.

How to get to Hua Hin from Phuket

From Phuket to Hua Hin your choices are:

1%26gt; Fly to bangkok from Phuket and then take a taxi about 2.5 hours from BKK airport to Hua Hin, or, take a taxi to the bus station for express bus to Hua Hin, or, take the train from Bangkok.

2%26gt; Express bus from Phuket Town overnight to Hua Hin, takles about 10 hours, roguhy about THB 750 for VIP bus - note, some buses will drop you in Hua hin others don%26#39;t, but you would find that localy.

3%26gt; If not on a budget car+driver about 8 hours from west coast Phuket beaches to your hotel or resort in Hua Hin. Wild guess about THB 5,000-6,000 for that.

4%26gt; Some take a bus to Sura Thani and then take one of the trains to Hua Hin but that takes longer than the express bus
