Answering within the parameters of your question, I%26#39;d suggest (value wise), that you bring your pounds with you, and exchange them as you need to.

You%26#39;ll pass the first of 1001 money exchange booths a minute or two after you step off the plane. They are everywhere and the rate%26#39;s always better IN Thailand.

Have a good time.

thanks mate

you have just set my mind at ease tis good to know that there are very helpful and genuine people about

Depends how cautious you are - I normally have small amount of T/C%26#39;s with numbers on my e mail account. Then in case of emergency, I have a fall back. Take cash and change when you are there is easiest but obviously most risky. Other alternative use ATM.

i have just set up a nationwide flext account, the bank does not charge anything for using it abroad in atm%26#39;s, may get charged at machine depending upon what type of machine you use. i will just top the account up before i travel from my nomal account. dont know if you have enough time to do this though?

thankyou for all the info i found it all very helpful
