Can anyone please recommend good Thai restaurants within easy walking distance of the Royal Orchid Sheraton?

can%26#39;t remember the name but there%26#39;s one restaurant on Captain Bush Lane(Charoenkrung road, soi 30). price is reasonably good. food not great but passable. it also looks pretty nice. air con room and also open air area (for smokers, mozzies gonna like you very much)

For great food you may catch a metered cab to Chinatown and/or Mahachai road (aka Pratu Phee - Ghost gate). Lots of food stalls at night

Not within walking distance but within a boat ride across the river, Yoke Yoh (or similar sounding). They offer a complimentary shuttle service to cross the river from River City Shopping Mall which is next to the Royal Orchid Sheraton.

As was true with Starwood we ate at Yok Yor, accross the river. We picked up the shuttle at the shopping center next door. Good food and great views of the river at night.
