weather conditions in Bangkok during April

I understand that the rainy season begins around May each year but during April are the conditions favourable for sunbathing? Also, does the city suffer with smog or excessive cloud cover around this time

April is the hottest month of the year and is usually dry too, however, over the last few years the rainy season has started earlier and you couldd now get some rain showers too. The city has a pollution haze (not as bad as some other cities and it is better than it was) but otherwise skies should be clear. Right now, we have clear blue skies.

During April 13-15 you will get wet whatever the weather, as its Songkran - google will give you lots of information about this festival :)

it will be hot hot hot - even during cloud you can sunbathe and get badly burnt if you are not careful-it might be sunny, might be cloudy - cloud is relief from the real burning sun

';Dry'; is a relative term. Even though it might not rain, the humidity might make you wish it would!

My first visit to Bangkok was in April. I still remember my first impression was the smell of two cycle oil as we exited the plane!

Hot, Hot, Hot %26amp; dry. Keep up the water!!
