hi there!!!need your help:%26gt; my sister and her family who lives in the states will be coming to the philippines for a visit. they invited me and my parents to join them for a trip to bangkok. i recommended baiyoke boutique hotel, although i haven%26#39;t been there before. 1) could help me out and tell me what to expect from the hotel?
2) the hotel does not provide airport transfers, how do we go to the hotel from the airport and vice versa?
3) my sister wants to visit the temples (emerald buddha, reclyning, etc) nearby, do we still need to get someone to facilitate the tour? how much? can you recommend a good travel agency? i was hoping to get a pacakaged tour from one of the hotels nearby (baiyoke suites/baiyoke sky, etc). my sister also wants to go to the floating market.
please help me!! thanks so much!! want my sister%26#39;s trip to be enjoyable.

If you like to visit temple in bangkok try look at hotels on location Riverside(you can travel by boat) and khaosan Rd., there are very easy for visiting Temple by yourself (taxi, bus, Tuk Tuk)...Sawasdee Khaosan Inn is interesting on there about 17-35 Dollar

Hi! Sent you an email direct to you. Kindly check.
Regarding the temples, you can go on your own to Grand Palace and the Temple of the Emerald Buddha. They are in the same area. Next to the Grand Palace is the Reclining Buddha, you can walk from there. Entry to Grand Palace will cost you 250 Baht each if you don%26#39;t go with a package tour (Package tour is usually 750-1,000Baht per pax). But you can rent an audio guide at the entrance and there is a map which will guide you on your tour. Your ticket to Grand Palace will also give you a free access to Vimanmek Mansion. There is a scam outside the Grand Palace where people even in uniform will tell you that the Palace is closed for a ceremony. Don%26#39;t believe any of them, enter the gate and proceed to the ticket office. Hope you%26#39;ll have an enjoyable trip.
Hi,
I%26#39;ve stayed in bakyoke boutique before. it%26#39;s cheaper than baiyoke sky but it%26#39;s located right behind baiyoke suite. It is very convenient at baiyoke. U can get morning and night markets, nearby warehouse and platinum mall. Taxi%26#39;s are aplenty at baiyoke.
there are also many leg massages and tour agents around the corner of baiyoke. you will be spoilt by choices! :)
have a great time at bangkok.
hi,agree with poster above about baiyoke boutique and how to got to baiyoke boutique, you can take a taxi that from airport that would better because of the hotel don%26#39;t offer airport transfer.
cheers,
You can go to the temples etc. by yourself but it really is more convenient to go with a tour company as you don%26#39;t have to worry about how to get there, how to get back etc.
I do know that the Baiyoke Sky has a tour desk in their lobby and that the streets in this area have lots of tour agencies. Just walk around and you will easily find one.
Have a great holiday.
