sorry to ask so many questions which have prob already been raised, but again it%26#39;s my first time to Thailand and just want to make sure that I get it right.

Am looking at early sept -would the weather be ok then still?

Am thinking of 3-4 nights in Samui (to get a feel for it) then 8-9 nights in Phangan. had thought about Ko Tao but not much of a diver so thought maybe a bit of a waste.

I know that nightlife is not busy on Ko Phangan but are there nice beach bars/restuarants to sit in - if so where is the best area?

Finally, someone mentioned that around 3000 baht is a good price to have, some of the hotels look more expensive than this - what would be reasonable (assuming a mid-higher end property) -have looked at Sunset cove for example?

3,000 bhat a night is a good budget , even at Sunset cove , they advertise a cottage suite for under 3,000.
