Where to party and stay for 2 single (straight) guys?

Will be in phuket/krabi early April and was wondering where would be the best place for partying/clubbing and meeting other tourists?

We dont mind roughing it in terms of accomodation (as long as clean and if new all the better) so any accommodation recommendations would be great too.
