Any jelly fish sightings - Pak Weeb beach?

We will be staying on Pak Weeb beach in 4 weeks time (counting the days!) and wondered whether there had been any jelly fish seen recently? We%26#39;re hoping to be able to swim safely in the sea. I know there were some posts about this a while ago, but wondered what the current situation was? Thanks, Lally

We saw some jellies washed up on Pak Weeb and Khuk Khak beaches during the first week we arrived here in January. Since then none at all.

We met some TA members today who had been stung while swimming off Sunset Beach. Not surprising that the recent storms and rough seas have driven the jellies inshore. Hopefully these, the storms and the jellies, will soon go away!
