We will be in Thailand beginning of April, and want to spend a few days at the jungle rafts. Does one need to prebook, or can bookings be made on arrival in Kanchanaburi? ie: how busy would early April be? Every website seems to be a booking system like sawadee or serenatahotels, and I was wondering whether it is a good idea to book through these agencies or not?
River Kwai jungle rafts
The Serenata Group owns the River Kwai Jungle Rafts so it%26#39;s good to book with them but you likely won%26#39;t get any discount. Sawasdee is a Thailand based company - they usually offer cheaper rates (though not much). There are also many other online websites - asiarooms, agoda, asiawebdirect just to name a few
You better book in advance and also make a reservation for a boat transfer from their own pier to the resort. pls note that it%26#39;s in Saiyoke so it%26#39;s quite a distance from Kanchanaburi city, would take about 40 mins
