See the more recent threads about this. If you cross at legitimate crossing point like Aranyaprathet - Poipet, you%26#39;ll have no problem. The problems are in a different area and its mostly gesturing by both sides.

All the casinos at the Poipet border point are owned by politicians, so you can guarantee there won%26#39;t be problems in that area!

Did you end up crossing between Thailand and Cambodia? If so, how were the roads from Bangkok to the border? And, from the border to Siem Reap?
