LK Metropole Hotel

I am planning a short trip of 5-7 days in Pattaya with my 12 year old son and wanted to know about the pool at LK Metropole. Does it get the Sun all day or what time does it start to get the shade?

I like to rise around 11am take breakfast by the pool and veg out till around 4/5pm.

We will be visitng Koh Larn on a couple of days plus perhaps other day trips so not mega important but certainly will want to veg out and acclimatise on our first Day.

I assume they allow guests in your room there? I am booking two rooms by the way so please don%26#39;t think I am subjecting a 12 year old to anything other than a good holiday!

I don%26#39;t think a 12 year old should be left alone in a Hotel Room, no matter where in the world, never mind Pattaya.

Read the post please!!

At what point did I say I was leaving him alone??

I will be booking connecting rooms and he will be with me all the time.

I have a girlfriend there who will only visit me when he is asleep in the next room.

I have never stayed at this hotel but liked the look of it on website and when I have walked past it so I just wanted people who have some first hand experience of staying here. Not somebody who can%26#39;t read a post and makes stupid assumptions.

I stayed at this hotel last year. The hotel is pretty good but the breakfast is very ordinary, breakfast by the pool at 11.am don%26#39;t think so. However there are lots of good eating and drinking places close by. It is a very safe and secure hotel for your son.

My only gripe was the pool as it is a little small for my taste but it gets the sun all day. If you are more of a sun god than a swimmer this hotel will suit you fine.
