Ko Phangan Accommodation

Can anyone recommend and good clean and cheapish (not over 1200 BHT) in Ko Phangan or Ko Tao ?

Hi,koh phangan is not far from koh tao.So,i prefer koh tao for scuba diving

I recommend Ban麓s Diving Resort located at Sai Ree Beach,the location is great and suitable for diving. Especially room price is value for money.

Ko Phangan Accommodation

Hi, We%26#39;ve just returned from both islands. On Koh Phangan there is a great beach called Had Yao. I think the name of the place we stayed was Had Yao Villa. It is next door to the See through resort if you travel there by taxi. We stayed in one of the basic fan rooms which were 700bt. There were other newer rooms with a/c, fridge and TV which cost 1200bt. There is a nice swimming pool %26amp; restaurant on resort. We got the accom on spec. To get a ferry from the pier will cost 300-400 baht (for 2 people). There are some beaches closer to the pier which aren%26#39;t anywhere near as good but cost almost as much to get to in a taxi. We didn%26#39;t stay during the FMP and found Koh Phangan to be a very chilled place. If you prefer busy then head to Koh Tao. It is trickier to get accom if you arrive just after the FMP and also if you are not diving. On the boat from Samui/Koh Phangan the boat is littered with touts trying to get you use their diving resort. They will even take you to their resort which saves the taxi fare. I have heard that Bans is pretty good. We stayed at Coral Grand diving resort and got a basic room free for 5 nights in which time my husband learnt to dive. I%26#39;m positive that we could have upgraded to a very nice room for much less than 1200bt p/n. The resort was very nice with a pool and sunbeds on the beach. From our experience there seemed to be more action on Koh Tao although we preferred Koh Phangan.
