Currency in Thailand (Phuket)

Will I get a better exchange rate in the UK for the Baht or is it better to change currency in Phuket, or simply use an ATM?

We are staying at the Katathani in Kata Noi.

Agreed. You will always get a better rate in Thailand.

i just got mine here and have been watching it for the last month and i got 49.45 on www.travelsupermarket.com but have been told you get a better rate there :)

You will get a better rate in Thailand. The rate changes a little, either up or down, every working day. The change isn%26#39;t too drastic though. Bangkok uses real banks for the most part. Hotels and stores usually have a lower rate.
