Hard Rock Cafe opens this monthPefect a little bit more of corporate America to add to the pure tackiness and lack of Thainess of Patong.
Should suit people well who frequent Subway, McDonalds, Starbucks, Burger King, KFC, Pizza Hut...
and anywhere else that serves startchy food full of MSG (sometimes called just flavouring), sodium, preservatives, grease etc..
I remember in 1985 when I went the HRC in LA.. I think it really has lost its novelty in the last 23 years.
Lucky Patong still has lots Thai stalls for those people who want to experience Thailand and eat FRESH Thai Food with Real Flavour (ok sometimes you still have to ask them not to add the MSG)...

They%26#39;ve has a Hard Rock and Hard Rock Hotel in Pattaya about 7 years.
Doesn%26#39;t surprise me they are opening in Patong, probably will be very popular.
If one opens in Chang mai i will die !
I saw this when i was there ( 3 days ago ) with its massive neon sign at the front.
Guess it might look better at night !
Hard Rock Pattaya gets busy at weekends with all those down from Bangkok.
