My family and I are travelling to Bangkok next year and I am looking for a hotel which will accommodate the four of us in one room as my children are only little. I would like somewhere nice close to restaurants and the sky train. I have researched the Pullman hotel where we can get one king bed and an extra bed. I have also found a new boutique hotel named De Arni which is in the Patpong area for alot cheaper which has a queen sofa bed in the lounge area. This hotel seems perfect for our needs but it is in the middle of the Patpong area. Does anyone know of this hotel and if the area is ok for young children?
De Arni Hotel Patpong area?
When you say the Patpong area exactley where is this hotel. Patpong is only 2 small Soi%26#39;s ( Patpong 1 and 2) running beween Silom and Suriwong Road.
If the hotel is on or down a side soi off Silom or Suriwong road then is will be fine for kids and yourself.
Check location in relation to Chong Nonsi Skytrain or Saladang Skytrain/Subway (MRT).
I canot find the hotel on goggle (most probabaly me) but also try www.asiatravel.com for family hotels in Bangkok.

De Arni Hotel Patpong area?
The Location is good. Nothing bad about it. The Sex scene are 800 meters away and lots of shops to cover it up.
Its same with other hotels in Sukhumvit.

So, if you see all the shops and shopping stalls. you know you made it to the HOT spot.. LOL.. Careful, the sellers sure take your mind off the bars.. Besides it is fun.
This new hotel, which looks very nice from the outside, is directly in front of the new Le Meridien Bangkok in Suriwong Road and next door to the Tawana Hotel. The location is EXCELLENT for tourists and the red light activities nearby will not be a problem.
