Hotel near shopping and Chatuchak market

Hi,

I need some advise where to stay in Bangkok. We will spend 4 days in Bangkok as a part of our 2 week Krabi vacation. Krabi will be the relaxing part and Bangkok is for shopping.

My wife wants to go to the Chatuchak market, king power shopping mall, Siam paragon and other shopping malls.

Can anyone recommend a good, reasonable priced hotel close to this market and shopping malls?

Preferably maximum THB2500 per night and high ranking here on TA.

Any hotel on the BTS Skytrain line will be close - in terms of time - to all of the attractions you mention. Just select any hotel that appeals to you, that%26#39;s handy to a Skytrain station in the Sukhumvit, Siam or Silom areas.

To clarify, Chatuchak market is at the end of the Skytrain line out of the central area, but easily accessible by skytrain to Morchit stn or MRT subway to Kamphengphet stn. The area around Siam or Ploenchit is idea in terms of shopping and transport. Check out the TA revues and bear in mind that 2500 baht can get you different things at different times of the year.

Thanks for the reply. I have now booked at the Furama Xclusive Sathorn. Seems like a decent place and close to the BTS Skytrain.
