Narawan Hotel

Hi

Has anyone stayed in the Narawan Hotel on soi 94 or heard good/bad things? It looks lovely on the website and very cheap but I can%26#39;t find a single review.

Your expertise is greatly appreciated!

Thanks

Tessa

Narawan Hotel

Did you ever hear anything about this hotel?

Narawan Hotel

Hi Tessa,

There is not a lot of info about this hotel even though it looks really nice, have attached some links to two reviews found on other sites.

Seems it is not walking distance to Hua Hin central and beach and no lift in building, close to railway station which seems to be a bit noisy. Sue

I have not stayed as we always stay at the beach.

Soi 94 is quite a way from the town center and beaches, past the Hua Hin Market Village shopping mall. Then it is up near the railway line. I believe it is close to the railway line which could be noisy in that area.

Not sure of your reason for choosing but you would neither be in the town or at the beach as it is inland.

Thanks for that. It seems that more info is appearing on the internet now. My parents used to live on soi LD just next door and although they are not there now I wanted to be in that area. I don%26#39;t want to be near the beach as I am scared of the jelly fish and am happy to get the bus in to tow.

Thanks for taking the time to help me with this

Tessa

If you stay let us know how it is

Hi, we stayed at the Narawan at the end of January for 11 nights. The hotel had only been open 6 months. The rooms where very good and clean. The hotel staff and Management could not do enough for us and treat us as part of their family they were extremly good with our 10 year old daughter. The hotel is a 5 min walk to Market village, there is 2 good places to eat either side of the hotel one called Oys and one called Moos good food and cheap prices in both. The beach is straight down the Soi and across the road about a 10 min walk. The only downside was the breakfast their was a few issues and it is basic compared to the big chain hotels but there is fresh fruit, juices eggs, ham, yogurts, toast and cereals. All you had to do is ask and they will sort out what you need. I requested a hairdryer and within a few minutes I had one and also tea/coffee making facilities for the room and they provided it. They also arranged tuk tuks and a taxi for our return to the airport and it was at agood price and a large comfortable car. The rates are very good for this hotel I just emailed them and asked them for their best rate. When we return next year we will be booking this hotel again.

Thanks for your review, good to hear you enjoyed your stay at the hotel, so it is not really that far from the beach after all? Sue

Hi Sue,

No its not far from the beach. Walk down to the bottom of the Soi where the hotel is then you have to cross the busy main road that runs through Hua Hin. Straight across the road is the Boat House apartment block and you walk down the side of that. We walked quite a few days on the beach into Hua Hin centre and our 10 year old never complained it was too far.

I also forgot to say that the hotel has a room with a computer in it for guests to use free of charge to access the internet. We took our lap top and used the internet in our room.

Thanks again for all your comments. I have booked and paid for a week in July and am really looking forward to it!! Will let you all know how I get on.
