We spent the day in Koh Samui from the cruise ship Arcadia and here%26#39;s what we decided to do after checking out the information from Trip Advisor.
We thought the ship%26#39;s tours at forty pounds each were too expensive. There were 6 of us.
We arranged for a mini bus to take us out to Cheong Mon Beach for the day. Richard from Fast Track Samui arranged this beautifully and we called him the day before to confirm times and then we paid on the day. The mini bus was new and the driver excellent and they made sure we were back in time for the ship%26#39;s departure.
The beach was exactly what we were looking for with a pretty outlook and nice swimming, restaurants and beach chairs to lounge on with beach traders for a little shopping on the beach with massages to stretch out the old body. It was just a perfect day with all the transport taken care of.
We used the Imperial Boathouse Hotel as a meeting point and I would love to stay for a longer holiday there or near by one day.
