Thailand and Malaysia

Hi,

We are couple from UK and looking for holiday to Malaysia and Thailand. We have never visited these countries and need some help regarding the best way to travel from UK. Can someone please answer below query

1) We have 10-12 days holidays is that enough for travelling to Bangkok , Pattaya , Phuket , Kuala Lumpur, Langkawi and Penang.

2) Which is the best way to travel cruise , train , or fly between these cities ?

3) How will be the weather in April in Thailand and Malaysia ?

4) Which is the nice place for accomodation, we are looking for 3-4 star accomodation.

Your advice will help us a lot to decide our itenary.

10-12 days is enough to see KL, Langkawi %26amp; Penang....or.... Bangkok and Pattaya but not both countries.

My preference is for Thailand and you could fly into BKK and spend a couple of days there, take a day or overnight trip to Kanchanaburi (River Kwaii). Then fly down to Phuket and spend a week in the area visiting Krabi and/or Phi Phi island.
