Apex Hotel

Can anyone give a current review of the Apex hotel, I%26#39;m looking to come to Patts in May for 3 weeks and need somewhere to base.. is this place any good or are there any other recommendations...

Hi stayed at The Ice Inn which is virtually next door to The Apex,i think they are both about the same price Good value for money i would say and in a good spot on 2nd road everything close by.

I often eat at the Apex Hotel every now and then, the morning buffet is open to the public for 110 baht.

The Apex might be okay for one night just so you have a place to go to.

I prefer to stay on Soi Honey Inn which is nearby. You can get a room at the Honey Inn now for 600 baht.

Other hotels on this same Soi Honey Inn (Soi 10) are not too bad either. Captains Bar has rooms with wifi.

Next to the Captains place is the Malee Bar and Hotel, same wifi, etc.

Intown Holiday Hotel has a pool on the roof. In May the price should be down around 600 baht again.

In May if you arrive during the day you can pretty easy get a room in many places with a walk in. Ice Inn is okay too, rooms on the street side can be noisy because of the bar bands across the street.

Cheaper places with air, hot water, private toilet/shower are available on Soi Buakhaw and Soi Skawbeach.

So, book if you want of just show up and you will get something. If you are not happy then look around and move. Soi Honey Inn, Ice Inn - Apex are good locations and easy to walk to malls, street vendors, bars, restaurants and etc.

Does Ice Inn has in room safe and lift ??

I looked at the rooms in the Ice Inn, can%26#39;t remember if the safe was in the room or there was a safety box at the front desk.

Don%26#39;t remember a lift being there. But my inspection was only brief.

Intown Holiday Hotel does have a lift, 2 of them to be precise.

No lift at the Honey Inn, there is a lift at the Bay Breeze Hotel on Soi Honey Inn but the rooms are higher priced this year.
