Its a public holiday 13-15 April inclusive. All offices and schools will be closed as will many small businesses, but department stores etc will remain open. A big percentage of people normally living in Bangkok will travel to other provinces.

You don%26#39;t want to be there at this time. Its great for the first 30 minutes, but the novelty will quickly wear off!

Agree acoolbreeze - been there once during Songkran but never again - for me its the time to stay away from Thailand.
